VARCO top drive cables

a power cable

1 Power cable The line from the SCR room to the frequency conversion room provides power (600VAC) to the frequency conversion room, three power cables and one ground wire.

2 Ground cables from the inverter house to the bottom of the derric. Three wires for power and one for ground.

3 Vertical cable from the bottom of the derric to the top of the derric.

Traveling cable From the top of the derric to the main motor, providing cables to the top drive

2.19 Auxiliary power cable

1 Ground auxiliary cable from the frequency conversion room to the bottom of the derric.

Swimming auxiliary cable From the bottom of the derric to the top drive body, it provides power for fans, hydraulic pumps, and main motor heaters.

Three 42 control cables

1 Ground control cable from the frequency conversion room to the bottom of the derric.

Travelling control cable From the bottom of the derric to the top drive body, it controls the solenoid valve and the encoder.

Four communication cables
