The 2-1/2 uses an industry leading, heavy-duty mechanical seal as a
standard. These rugged mechanical seals have proven themselves time and again in
the field and continue to be one of the best features of our superior 2-1/2.
These mechanical seals can be offered in tungsten carbide or silicon carbide sealing
faces, depending on the type of application. Dual mechanical seal are also available.
We also offers more economical options, for all three of its pump sizes, in the form
of regular packing rings, king packing, and the innovative injectable sealants, to
address the leakage concerns on centrifugal pumps.
